EZ Knight's MafiaWars Tools
For a while I have been playing a game on Facebook called Mafia Wars. It has its pros and several excruciating cons, but it is still a fun game to play. One of the cons is that the game makes it so hard to do simple tasks. Thus was born the MafiaWars Bookmarklet.
I am not the first to create such tools. In fact, there are some more useful tools out there. Some of these tools were used when designing mine. These great bookmarklets can be found at these locations:

There is a catch though. The use of these tools are technically against the terms of service of MafiaWars and could result in your account being banned from the game and possibly Facebook. So keep that in mind and use with caution.
All that said, on to my tools.
I am a mogul in Mafia Wars and our sole purpose in the game is to get money for the sole purpose of gaining more money. So what I have created is a pair of tools to assist people in investing their money in the best way possible so that they can maximize their hourly income.

Updated: 09/28/2009This one is based on Vern's ExpEnergy bookmarklet except it tells you the average ROI of the jobs based on how much energy you spend versus how much money you gain. This is calculated by finding the ROI on the low and high of the cash reward and averaging the two. Run this on any job page.

Updated: 09/28/2009 This will become useless when Rackets are rolled out to everyone. This one calculates the Return On Investment (ROI) for each property. You always want to buy the property with the HIGHEST ROI. Also, always buy properties in tens (10s) to maximize your investment. Although it does show the ROI of Mafia Mikes, it will never recommend them as they will almost always be your best bet if you have the Mafia Members for them. It also shows the ROI in days (How many days it takes to payback what you spend and start bringing in a profit.) Run this from the Properties page in Mafia Wars.
Defunct Bookmarklets
The following bookmarklets are ones that I created that Zynga has made useless. I will leave the code here so that you can look at them and see what they use to do.
This one is now defunct. I will not be making any updates to this one.This one is based on Bobby Heartrate's Add All tool that recently stopped working. Go to your recruiting screen, click the bookmarklet and it wil lcreate a list of Add Links for all your friends. Then just go down the list and open all the links in a new tab or window. Those that play Mafia Wars will be added. I will be working on a way to auto add these people or at least filter out those that don't play. not sure how to do either at the moment.
Those are what I have for now. My next endeavor will be to create a bookmarklet that auto buys properties based on these calculations.
