Here are a few of my poems.
What It's All About
Darkness came from the west The winds started to wake from rest A warning came through the air It said "We should get out of there."
The dust began to swirl As a mother called to her girl The enemy took her from her arm For it came without alarm
As we stood and gazed in awe The battle left the land raw After the enemy went his way The people then could not stay
Love filled all their hearts As families gave their part People came together in peace Then did the happiness increase
All that we could do Is share the love with each of you When we can join together We can withstand even the weather.
Dairy Queenesque
Ice cream, soda, milkshakes No, we have no frozen cakes. Hamburgers, hotdogs, fries I've never seen those pies.
Why has it fallen apart? Just push it aside with a cart. They're here to shut the water off. I just laughed and covered in a cough.
The owner is a nutter. We're running out of butter. Well, we just ran out of steak. I think I'll take a break.
An Angel's Kiss
Why do swallows sing, When you are around? Why do silver bells ring, When you enter in?
Your heart calls out To all that is good. Your spirit soars higher Than other's could.
The sun's shine grows dim Against your radiant smile. The wind blows a hymn As you walk the path.
All this and more Is because of the Lord. He made you for All the world to see
